This 48 cm Estuary Perch was caught recently by Zac Spurling in the Bega River.
There is some movement in the Bermagui River with plenty of Blackfish, Bream and Whiting holding mid stream east of the bridge. These fish can be taken on nippers and worms on the start of the rising tide and will generally feed for around an hour. The Bega River near Tathra has some very large Black Bream and Estuary Perch which are responding to any well placed lure.
